After Studying the effect of speed and aperture; after studying the color and temperature of light; after studying form and shape; after studying film and glass and chemistry and paper; after studying pixels and layers.... Somehow my life has come around to this: to make photographic record of the great ceremonies of life; to make record of the coming of age of a young man or woman on the event of their last year of high school; to have the privilege of joining in the celebration of the birth of a new child with the mark of the first portrait; to take part in those unbelievably rare moments when the whole family comes together for a group portrait.
